As part of the Ortega Feel Series, the left-handed RCE138-T4BK electro-acoustic classical guitar boasts a satisfyingly tight design and just as satisfying features. The thinline mahogany body is a mere 85mm deep and the matching mahogany neck has been fitted using the heel-to-body principle at the 14th fret. The neck is also comfortably slim for a nylon string guitar and is supported by a patented 12-hole Ortega Bridge for extra stability and durability. The most remarkable feature of the RCE138-T4STR is probably the bowed fretboard. Highly unique to a classical model, the wood between the frets is rounded rather than flat which, while it requires a little period of adjustment, offers a smoother feel when playing chords. Also, since this guitar comes fitted with an Ortega MagusPro-NL preamp, the amplified acoustic sound can be shaped using volume and tones controls while a phase button that filters out any frequencies that might cause feedback and tuning up is also streamlined using the integrated tuner.
